Who you'll be sitting next to
We're showing you who's alredy joining Future Builders.
Future Builders is six weeks out: Friday, September 18, in beautiful Vienna, with 60 senior practitioners from design, engineering and product.
The seats are filling up nicely, and the room is turning out exactly the way we hoped: people who usually sit on different sides of thesame table. So here's a little taste of what's waiting for you.
On the product side, it runs from product managers and product owners through platform ownership and team leadership all the way up to founder level.
Design is just as broad: design leadership, senior UX and UI expertise, product design, content design, web design, and people working across experience design and customer service.
From engineering, there are frontend and full-stack developers, plus architecture. Research, marketing and content engineering round out theperspectives.
There's a lot of Head, Lead and Senior in those titles. Mostly, though, they're people wrestling with the same questions you are. That's a peer room rather than a beginner room, and it's exactly why we cap it at 60.
Industry-wise it's a wide spread: energy, agricultural machinery, construction, telecoms, media, gaming, biotech, AI, developer infrastructure, smart home hardware, health data and consumer apps, agencies, academia – you name it. Some come from five-person teams, some sit inside organisations with thousands.
They're travelling in from all over Europe – from the Nordics and the Baltics down to theMediterranean, with plenty coming from Central Europe and, of course, Austria. One pair is making the trip all the way down from Umeå, a few hundred kilometres short of theArctic Circle. Several companies are sending two or more people together, which tells you something about how teams are thinking about this right now.
If you're coming, let your network know! We've prepared some visuals for you to share, so you can maybe even connect with a few people before the event.
Tag us and we'll happily like and comment!
